CDOT (the Colorado Dept. of Transportation) estimates... ---------------------------------------------- Summit Gas Prices Gas Price Forum Article in Summit Daily When gas prices rose last summer in reaction to Hurricanes Katrina and Rita Summit County prices were no exception, topping out around $3.00 per gallon. The next month gas prices fell to close to $2.00 per gallon in Denver, but in Summit County prices remained around $2.75 per gallon. State Representative Gary Lindstrom began looking into the situation but so far we do not have an answer.
