Working to make Summit County a Better Place to Live for Ourselves and Future Generations

|
Public Roundtable: T ransportation: Traffic, Transit and TrucksMarch 11, 7-9 pm at the Summit Community and Senior Center. |
State Senator Dan Gibbs is meeting some resistance in sponsoring several policy
initiatives during the 2010 session of the state legislature designed to relieve
bottlenecks on I-70 during peak travel in the High Country.
Summit County's free public transportation system faces challenges in
maintaining the level of service that visitors and locals alike have grown to
appreciate.
Then there's the issue of whether Denver Water's nightly closures of the Dillon
Dam Road will remain a nagging irritant to the community.
So whether you have a perspective to share or an interest in becoming more
informed about matters of mobility, join the conversation.
The roundtable is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 6:45. Light
snacks and soft drinks will be available.
Inquiries about the event may be directed to Howard Hallman at 719-491-1807 or
