Public Health, will lead a
discussion of health
concerns certain to be of
interest to residents and
seasonal visitors to the
High Country, including:
• H1N1 & seasonal influenza,
norovirus and other
communicable diseases
• Altitude sickness
• Seasonal Affective
Disorder
• Hydration
• Winter sports orthopedic
issues
• Skin issues, including
frostbite & sunburn
Crook will be joined by a
group of caregivers,
including Kathy Davis, MA,
LPC, of Colorado West Mental
Health, Ed Noordewier, MD,
chair of the Emergency
Services Department at Saint
Anthony Summit Medical
Center, and Justin Pollack,
ND, Mountain-River
Naturopathic Clinic as well
as specialists in
dermatology, orthopedics and
pediatrics.
The roundtable format is
designed to encourage
questions and commentary.
The event is free and open
to the public. Doors to the
Community & Senior Center
will be open at 6:30 pm,
when an assortment of
beverages and snacks will be
served.
